Today’s Question: is it rape if you cum
If you said “no”, or otherwise indicated your unwillingness to engage in sexual activity with another person (whether before the act or during), and that person forced you to engage in said activity, whether through physical force, coercion, intimidation, emotional blackmail, or otherwise, then YES, it is rape. Even if you cum. Sexual response is a tricky thing, and arousal can occur even under circumstances where you think it shouldn’t - such as sexual assault. Orgasm can be a reflexive response to stress — is not an indication that you wanted it or even that you liked it, but rather that your body was adapting to the circumstance and responding to the physical stress.
I’m sure this resulted in confusing feelings, perhaps guilt and shame, and perhaps allowed the perpetrator to feel as though the sexual act was consensual. But if you read this, or if you are another person to whom this has happened, I hope you will feel a little relief in knowing that there is nothing to be ashamed of, and I hope you will seek counseling and consider reporting the rape to the proper authorities.
