The company that makes the ingenious but expensive and not-0ften-used Female Condom (also know as Reality) has just gotten backing from an FDA panel on their new, lower-cost version. You can read the whole story here.
This is exciting news as the Female Condom is the only barrier method that women can control themselves and the $4 price of it currently keeps a lot of women from trying it out. Also, as more people are realizing that they have latex allergies, some are finding that the few non-latex condoms out there aren’t a great fit and there is not much to do about that. The female condom, however is non-latex and because it fit inside a woman’s vagina, any size penis (or dildo or hand) can be happy!
