Today’s search term is: مهبل
Wow. Okay. So I plugged this word into an online Farsi-English dictionary and the translation was “cunt”.
There are several questions swirling around my head right now. Firstly, entering “cunt” as a search term, in any language, seems like an open invitation for viruses, spyware, you name it. Secondly, I wonder what exactly this person was hoping to discover. You would think they would use a descriptor or two, just to narrow down the search results. They could take a hint from some of our other search term veterans - perhaps choosing “O’Keeffe vagina” (thus attaching it to a person) or “pussy smelling” (to give an action along with the object) or “luscious labia” (to indicate the genre of labia they wish to view). But no, just cunt. Or vagina, depending on which online dictionary you’re using.
But I’m sure points one and two could be explained easily. Who knows the circumstances under which this person decided to search for cunts on the internet in Farsi. I think point three is perhaps the most mysterious - how did the Farsi word for cunt bring our fair Googler to this site? I have no explanations, sassy or otherwise. Search engines work in mysterious ways, I suppose, bringing cunt-searchers and purveyors of cunt products together, by luck or by design.
It’s a beautiful thing.
