If you haven’t heard of steampunk, I won’t go into great detail about it here — not because I’m being snooty, but because I’m just so sick of hearing/talking about it that you’d probably be better served reading about it on Wikipedia. But the short short answer is that it’s a strangely fetishized fashion and literary trend based on archaic technology powered by, you guessed it, steam.
All this is to say that a good friend tipped me off yesterday to this. I don’t think it’s for sale, but, well, a clockwork girl can dream, can’t she?
