So we got an email today asking what Porter’s core is made of and whether or not it would set off a metal detector at the airport. Hmm.. good question.. so we opened one up to take a closer look:
From what Eden and I could tell… the bendable spine is made of plastic.. with a pearl looking top (so fancy) but there is a wire type of thing in the core which I can’t imagine could set off a metal detector.. it kinda looks like plastic covered electric wire (but I know it has nothing to do with electricity).
So our determination is that it is highly unlikely that Porter would set off any metal detector.
