Two antique, wooden dildos were just auctioned off in Essex for a whopping £3,600 last Thursday. An educated guess has the pair of dildos (one 10 inches long, and the other 11), and their leather-lined carrying case, being made in 18th Century France. And, just in case you were wondering what the buyer could possibly have been thinking, “Auctioneer Wendy Wood said: ‘You might laugh but it’s a good opportunity for investment. You won’t see another one in a long time.’”
Fun fact: The world’s oldest known dildo is believed to be a 30,000 year old, 8 inch, stone phallus, found in a cave in Germany in 2005.
