Sorry Symphony, you do not make sweet music..

Once again, I am thankful for the folks that are willing to try out sex toys for us. This one right here… The Symphony by Mantric caught my eye. It has an unusual shape, is made of 100% silicone and is reasonably priced (retails at about $50). But something just didn’t seem quite right, so I sent it to our friend & reviewer Epiphora who I knew would take the task seriously. And her verdict… well I’ll let you read for yourself…

The shape of this toy is odd — not ergonomic. The shaft is relatively short and does not hit my G-spot. The clit bump doesn’t touch my clit unless I tilt the toy upward, but this is slightly painful since the shaft is so unyielding. Once I get in this position, I feel as though I need to press/push the toy against me the entire time if I want to continue stimulating my clit, which causes continual discomfort in my vagina and against my vulva.

The vibrations are strong — in the shaft. They do a terrible job of transferring to the clit bump. It’s actually laughable, if you feel the shaft and then the clit bump. And on most of the vibration settings, the toy makes an obnoxious rattling noise, so it is quite loud. I could get off with the Siena Symphony if forced, but there’s not enough intensity on my clit for it to be good. To make matters worse, the clit bump gets in the way of any other clitoral stimulation.

And like me, little things irk her too:

One last totally trivial thing that irked me: I found the little forward at the beginning of the manual to be really off-putting. I should applaud you because you went through the “trouble” of manufacturing a manual for your sex toy? No.

Ha! Thanks for the help Epiphoria! If you want something that is actually fun, check out these G-Spot toys here.
