early to bed

Thanks to the folks at Feministing, I just heard about this guy who apparently really wanted a sex toy so he crashed a truck into a sex shop and stole it. Stealing is wrong and bad and fact that he DROVE A TRUCK into the shop is horrifying (and yes, kinda just a little funny), but the news report make sit seem like wanting a sex toy makes him some perverted freak. And even though the toy he apparently stole comes from a company that has the most sexist, misogynistic packaging copy I have ever seen, I still think the way they talk about sex in the new coverage is sad and anti-sex. SEX TOYS ARE FUN! They make people happy and liking them does not make you a pervert.
