Purchased last year and am so happy with this purchase!! It holds up after frequent use and washings. It has a slight crinkle noise, but it's subtle and doesn't deter from usage.
If I place a normal towel on top of the waterproof throw, it's even better and doesn't feel like myself or a partner is laying in a pool of liquids.
Either way, I would recommend!!
This blanket is a game-changer and life--or should I say bed--saver. I love how soft and comfortable the blanket is, so you don't feel like you have a crinkly mattress pad underneath you just to have a bit of (well-lubricated) fun. I used to have the older model of this blanket, and I think all the upgrades of a thinner design and double-sided softness make a word of difference. I definitely recommend this to anyone in need of alleviating any anxieties about "making a mess". It's so reliable and so easy to clean!
