Kinky Crafting- Sculpt a Silicone Grinder

Every body is different, so why not make a custom toy that’s just for you! 

In this workshop you will be given the tools to sculpt a grinder out of a clay that is temperature reactive, non-drying, and can be recycled after use.  We will go over fundamentals of what makes a sculpted model body safe.  

Once you have finished creating your dream grinder, you will be shown how to prep a mold box for mess-free silicone pouring.  You will get to choose from a selection of swatches what color you want your final product to be.

The models and mold boxes will be collected and taken to the instructor’s studio space where a silicone mold will be created of your model.  A final platinum-grade silicone grinder made out of platinum-grade silicone will be made with the color way you have chosen.  You will be able to pick up your final product in 1-2 weeks!  

All clay will be melted back down to be used again.  If you wish to keep your original silicone mold along with your finished grinder, you can for the additional price of $20.  Otherwise, all original mold will be broken down and recycled to make future molds.  

Bio:

Aleta Owen is a queer, silicone artist!  They are the founder of “Jellisquish Ink”, a small, indie business dedicated to making delightfully squishy and safe sex toys for all bodies and genders.  They specialize in dildos and wand covers!  Aleta has worked in the adult toy industry for the past 5 years and uses that experience to create products that are niche and beautiful.  They draw inspiration from their love of nature and video games. 

Everyone will be asked to sign simple sharp tool liability form at the workshop. 

You must be 18+ to attend.  Face Masks are required at all events.  We will happily provide you one if you forget yours. 

Workshops are held at our Chicago store - 5138 N Clark St.  You must be 18 years old to attend a workshop.

There are no refunds on ticket purchases.  If you cancel up to 2 days before the workshop, you will be issued a store credit for your ticket purchase price.  If you cancel later than that or do not show, no credits will be issued.
