NYTC Packing Pouch

Availability: In stock

The clever packing pouch design has magnets that fasten around the waistband of your underwear (so just a small flap is on the outside of the unders - or pants if you go commando). Super easy to wear and holds that packer securely in place!

These are about 4" wide and 7.5" long when closed.

Works well with most of the packers but is a little too small for Juan and other large styles of packers. Email us if you have questions about compatibility with a specific Packer in our collection. Not for use with StPs.

Made of a moisture wicking microfiber fabric with removable magnets. Wash gently and be sure to remove the magnets before laundering.

**Note that the color of the pouch can transfer to your packer, especially if the packer is not-silicone. We recommend hand-washing this pouch before using with any packer to reduce this possibility, and even after washing a stain may still build up. Packer staining is not a valid reason for return**

Material: Moisture wicking microfiber
Care: Wash with delicates and hang or dry flat. Do not put in the dryer. Remove magnets before washing. For best results hand wash.

Pros:
-Pouch keeps the packer in good condition
-Will fit more body types than packing underwear
-Material is fairly comfortable

Neutral:
-Price is better than most packing underwear, though still not cheap

Cons:
-Not adjustable and, as a result, doesn't sit right on me
-Magnet closure doesn't work well through thick fabric

I'm a big guy and most packing underwear isn't sized for me, so I had to find another option for packing. I also don't have the money to buy several pairs of packing underwear or the energy to constantly wash one or two pairs. So I went with a pouch to see how that'd work for me.

The pouch is made of a pretty comfortable material. It has the slightest hint of velvetiness, which I don't like, but it's not perceptible in my pants. It's a microfiber cloth, which was probably chosen because it's cheap, durable, and less-absorbent.

The pouch itself is well-sized for the packer I have - the larger Pierre packer. However, I have a long torso relative to average proportions, which means a longer distance from groin to waist. The magnetic closure goes over the waistband, meaning that where it falls is dependent on where your waist is, not where your groin is. As a result, for me, the packer I have sits slightly too high to look natural. It may work with a packer with different proportions (and honestly, the bigger Pierre is a bit larger than I'd like) but it's non-trivial to figure out if this pouch will work with your packer and your proportions.

Additionally, with underwear that has a thick waistband, such as elastic boxers with a scrunched fabric waistband, if the closure lands on the thick part, it does not hold. The magnet isn't strong enough to connect through the layers. This also means that, even if I were comfortable doing it, rolling the waistband to try to get the packer to sit lower is out of the question.

I think I'm going to end up giving this a wash and giving it away. I can see why this product exists and I'm sure it works for some people, but it doesn't for me.
